Miu Miu is pleased to present an exclusive selection of ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, accessories especially curated for Ramadan and Eid. The collection is captured in a series of portraits, featuring model Rania Benchegra, as well as in a sequence of still-life imagery, all located in a quiet, sun dappled space evocative of a mood of reflection and introspection.
Effortlessly blending elegance and modernity, modesty and glamour, the ready-to-wear pieces combine an eased wardrobe with sophisticated details. Feminine ruffles and full skirts falling to mid-calf are juxtaposed with sportswear-inspired, masculine aesthetic – buttoned up shirting, tie waists, branded schoolboy sweaters, cardigans and oversized zip-fronted bombers.
Fabrics equally embrace the contrasts at the heart of the Miu Miu name. Robust merino wool, cotton poplin and denim in white, beige, grey, indigo and navy feature alongside fine-gauge twinsets and layered, washed, discreetly distressed garments in pale shades of ivory and blush.
The Miu Wander bag and a small vanity case and satchel add shine, exclusive in rose gold, yellow gold and silver matelassé leather, and timelessly beautiful in navy and black. Sling-back pumps with an exaggerated pointed toe and stiletto heel are radically bourgeois in black, red and white patent leather. Leather wrist cuffs and metal-rimmed sunglasses finish a look that is uncompromisingly contemporary while expressing the mood of optimism and renewal surrounding this special time.
