On November 23rd, 2023 Miu Miu presented the Miu Miu Club Tokyo, in Aoyama district.
On this occasion Miu Miu casted spotlight on Noh Theatre, paying tribute to this traditional art form with almost 700 years of history, involving female artists and creators.
Noh mask maker Udaka Keiko showcased a selection of masks in Miu Miu Aoyama store and special performance took place the same evening in Tessenkai Theatre, one of Japan’s most acclaimed ensembles of the traditional Noh Theatre headed by one of the branch families of the Kanze School grand master. Renown actress Hikaru Uzawa interprets “Hagoromo”, one of the most popular Noh plays, in the role of an heavenly maiden who flies down to hearth and through a dance describes the beautiful and mysterious world of the moon where she resides.
The evening continued with an informal dinner at Two Rooms and a party at Wall & Wall.
One of a kind illustrations have been created by artist Nori Okawa for this event.
Miu Miu Club Tokyo welcomed a list of celebrities and guests, including Miu Miu ambassador Ever Anderson, actress Riisa Naka, Marika Matsumoto, Yuri Tsunematsu, dancer Aoi Yamada, breakdance world championship winner Ami Yuasa and model UTA.
