Miu Miu QIXI 2024
Miu Miu celebrates QiXi 2024 with a collection of ready-to-wear, accessories and accompanying campaign inspired by the reality of everyday life. Photographed by Alessandro Fuchino Capria, a series of fashion portraits reveals a cast that is confident and clear as the clothes they choose to wear. At times expressive, at others introspective, models move through an unknown space that is at once intimate and stripped bare: a mid-century modern sofa, coffee table or chair placed in a refined and sparsely furnished interior echo the eternal elegance and essential nature of the Miu Miu wardrobe.
A study in contrasts, abbreviated micro-mini skirts are worn with oversized aviator and blouson jackets in leather, jersey or felted wool. These are layered over signature cashmere cardigans, striped knits and masculine shirts. Here too are denim bomber jackets paired with wide-legged jeans, worn ultra-low on the hips, button-front fleece jackets, tailored overcoats and branded cotton poplin pajamas in white and sky blue designed for day. Shoes too are a play on paradox: kitten-heeled pumps are juxtaposed with penny loafers, soft, branded slippers with New Balance x Miu Miu sneakers. Miu Miu baseball caps, eyewear, small leather goods, glossy hair slides and sophisticated bijoux enrich appearance further.
Finally, the iconic Wander bag in luxurious matelassé leather and the Arcadie in soft calf appear alongside the timelessly beautiful Aventure, an archival design, re-defined for a contemporary lifestyle.
