Miu Miu opens a Pop-Up store in China, Xi’An SKP on January 29th, 2021.

Drawing on the dynamic sport floor markings of the Spring/Summer 2021 show space and with mannequins sitting on fondant yellow sponge platforms resonant of gym mats, the stores are also inspired by the1950s, a fresh and youthful Miu Miu trope including, specifically, vintage cars. Used as a narrative with which to guide visitors through the space, and in pop colours, embellished with flame motifs, these too take the form of props, spliced and complete with shelving to display product at its best.

The collection itself is a selection adapted exclusively for Miu Miu League Pop-Up. Comprising sporty fleece varsity jackets, cropped sweat tops, frill-fronted shirts and leather joggers, skirts, running shorts and bombers, it juxtaposes activewear with luxury; contemporary ease with a free-spirited, optimistic and quintessentially feminine palette and silhouette. Signature Miu Miu flourishes included crystal embroideries across everything from tea dresses to sneakers and clutches, logo-emblazoned baseball caps, the new Nineties-inspired Miu Miu lace-up shoe and the Sassy bag, a new addition in the Miu Miu matelassé offer, including iconic Miu Belle bag.
